Abstract
Purpose: To evaluate clinical acceptability of image quality under the setting of non DIOM RGB grayscale image quality as compared with DICOM gray scale setting with non medical ultra high definition monitor with of mammographic phantom image.

Materials and Methods: Used non medical ultra high definition monitor is convertible between DICOM and non DICOM RGB grayscale display. 3 different exposed images from mammographic phantom were reviewed by 6 radiologists. Image comparing was done as DICOM and non DICOM RGB gray scale display with the same monitor. Scoring was performed with counting of visible fibrosis, calcification groups, and mass in the phantom.

Results: No statistical difference in scoring between DICOM and non-DICOM display of mammographic phantom images with normal, over, and under exposed condition in same monitor.

Conclusion: Non-DICOM RGB image show same image quality as compared with DICOM gray scale in mammographic[R1] phantom images. Non DICOM RGB image display could be acceptable for limited condition such as clinical reviewing after diagnosis, however further evaluation is must be followed for real image study than phantom image.
